Grace P. Broggini (Pidwell) joined her husband with her passing on Thursday, January 23, 2014.
Grace was born on November 18, 1928 (along with Mickey Mouse), in Akron. She graduated from Buchtel High School in 1948. Grace married the love of her life, Kenneth Broggini, on June 6, 1953.
Grace worked as an activities coordinator for different nursing homes, finally retiring from St. Edward's after 10 years of service. She loved cooking delicious meals and spending time with her family; she enjoyed hikes, working with her flower gardens, and playing with her dogs and cats.
Grace is survived by her children, Grace Haas (Jerry), Lloyd Broggini, and Roger Broggini (Lynette); her loving grandchildren, Bradley Haas (Laura), Andrea Haas, and Andrew and Kayla Broggini; as well as other relatives that include her sisters-in-law, Mary Lang Broggini and Mildred Pidwell; Grace is also survived by family friends, Martha Hoffman and the Kluth Family.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with The Rev. Debra Q. Bennett officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. . (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel 330-867-4141)
