Grace "Bunny" Houser

Grace "Bunny" Houser, 84, passed away peacefully Monday, March 12, 2012.
Born in New Castle, PA, Bunny was a lifelong resident of the Akron and Bath area. A graduate of Indiana University, she had been a teacher in the Norton and Revere School Districts and member of the Bath Church, U.C.C. since 1962.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Paul R. Houser in 2009; she is survived by her children, David (Nora) Houser, Marla (Larry) Eckart, Mark (Charlene) Houser, Kevin (Lisa) Houser. She was a loving and proud grandmother to Marcie, Katie and Brad Bidinger, Christopher, Patrick and Rachel Eckart, Shelly Cox, Jacob and Morgan Houser, Kimberly, Kelly and Candice Houser. She also enjoyed great-grandson, Landyn Cox.
A memorial service will held 11 a.m. SATURDAY, March 17th, in the Historic Chapel of Bath Church, United Church of Christ, 3980 W. Bath Rd., with Rev. Mark W. Frey officiating. Private inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
