Gregg Wagner
died peacefully at home on January 1, 2024. Gregg was 73 years old and a lifelong resident of Northampton and Cuyahoga Falls.
Gregg was a graduate of Woodridge High School and Hiram College class of 1972 where he met his wife, Linda. He was also a proud local business owner, running Wagner’s Gift and Card Shop with his parents until they passed. Gregg was an active and passionate member of his community, participating in local politics. Gregg was Clerk of city council and held various other roles in local government but was most proud of his work as Chairman of the Cuyahoga Falls 175th Anniversary Committee.
Gregg was a man of many interests who enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, gardening, running, coaching cross country, and collecting antiques of all variety. He was also a long-time member of Mud Run Sportsman’s Association. Gregg was happiest at home surrounded by his family and dogs.
Gregg is survived by wife, Linda of 51 years and his three sons, David (Dani), Mark (Kim), Kevin (Kirsti) and 3 grandsons.
Friends and Family Celebration for Gregg will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2:00pm - 5:00 pm at Burntwood Tavern. (2291 Riverfront Parkway Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221)
