Greg A. Madanski, 61, joined his wife, Nan, in heaven on June 19, 2011.
Born in Cleveland, he lived most of his life in Akron. Greg was a proud retiree from AT&T and served in the US Marines during Vietnam. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his parents; survived by sons, Darrin Nikki, Brian Mayra; daughter, Dana Derek Toth; step daughters, Bryce Ben Weber, Sarah "Sadie" Emery; grandchildren, Coral Rose, Clara, Owen, Evelina, Isabella; brothers, Bill Sally, Steve Sandy, Christopher; sisters, Kathleen Rich Golias and Mary Lou Madanski.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Friday in the Memorial Chapel at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron 44304 with Rev. Steve Bucy officiating where military honors will be conducted by the US Marines and Firestone VFW 3383. Friends may call 5 to 8 pm, Thursday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron.
