Gregory W Sedlacko

Gregory W. Sedlacko, 51, went home to be with the Lord peacefully February 28, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Struthers, Ohio, he had been an Akron resident since 1990. A member of the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, he was manager of Disaster Recovery Services at First Merit Bank with 18 years service. He was an avid sports fan; all things Cleveland and Ohio State. Greg will be remembered as a genuine, caring person, a man of strong Christian Faith, and always more concerned about others than himself.
Preceded in death by his mother, Maryann, he leaves to cherish his memory his wife of twenty years, Karolyn; daughter, Susan Sedlacko; father, William; brother, Gary; sister, Arlene Henry Nespeca; and many loving friends and family.
Greg's family wishes to extend thanks to the doctors and staff of the Hospice Care Center and the Cleveland Clinic for their compassionate care and to friends and family for their wonderful support and love.
Service will be held 11 a.m. FRIDAY at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 315 Graham Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, with Pastor Cary Wadle officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., THURSDAY, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour before service FRIDAY at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Promise Keepers or Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.
