Harry C. Tallant, 86, died Dec. 23, 2014.
Born in Cleveland, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Richfield United Church of Christ. Harry retired from the Brecksville Post office, worked at all of the Cleveland stadiums and arenas, and raised sheep for 40 years on the family farm.
Preceded in death by sisters and brother, Helen, Louise and Clinton; he is survived by wife of 53 years, Peggy; children, Thomas (Lisa) and Melissa Tallant; grandson, Lucas; sisters, Carol Grabski and Dorothy Faust; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Richfield United Church of Christ with Rev. John D. King officiating. There are no calling hours. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Richfield United Church of Christ, 4340 Streetsboro Rd., Richfield, OH 44286. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
