Helen Albert

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen Albert; our Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother. She is survived by her sons Jack (Cheryl) and Paul (Donna) and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her loving husband Jack (1914-1999); two of her children Barbara Chaddock and Philip (Sharon) and her siblings Evelyn Diamantides, Effie Volpe and George Tsamis.

Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio; she raised her own four children in nearby Independence. Helen was active in the community and in the schools. She served as president of the PTA and was an enthusiastic volunteer for the Red Cross Learn to Swim program.

She loved to travel both within the United States and internationally.

Helen traveled with her family and her friends; from Europe to Bali; from India to New Zealand. In addition, she and Jack lived in Iran for a few years.

After an early retirement she move to Florida where she lived for 45 years.

She loved the sun and the sea. Many people have great memories of visiting Helen in Largo and Indian Rocks Beach. Two of her grandchildren moved to Indian Rocks Beach. (Scott and Lisa).

Helen will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
