Helen D Guinter

Helen D. Guinter , 95, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on July 9, 2024.

Helen was born in Akron, Ohio on May 24, 1929 to the late Otto and Pauline Dossett. She was a graduate of Buchtel High School and the University of Akron, following graduation she taught high school and college business courses for many years. Helen was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Woman’s Club and First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. She loved watching and following the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Cavaliers and was an avid bridge player and bowler.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Guinter and sister Wilma Morris. She is survived by her loving daughters Janice Emmendorfer and Nancy Guinter; grandsons Derrick Emmendorfer and Kevin (Kelly) Emmendorfer; great grandchildren Hannah and Aaron Emmendorfer; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to especially thank the staff at Danbury Woods and Suncrest Hospice for their love and care.

A private family service has taken place. Burial was held at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
