Helen Stephanie Muntean
Helen Stephanie Muntean, 82, died August 9, 2008.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, she lived most of her life in Akron. A member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, she graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She taught in the Akron Public School System, worked as a dietician at Akron City Hospital and worked for Highland Local Schools, retiring in 1989.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Misa Savich and her brother, Thomas Herceg; she is survived by her son, Earl P. Karen Muntean of Hudson; daughter, Susan M. Muntean Gary Flinn of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Victoria and Nicholas.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1361 W. Market St., Akron 44313.
