Helen Watson

Helen Louraine Watson, age 80, of Copley passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 30, 2015.
Born September 16, 1934 in Stumptown, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Park and Beulah Stump.
She was a member of the Copley Baptist Temple for over 50 years and was strong in her faith.
Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, scrap-booking and "running with the girls." She touched the hearts of everyone she came in contact with.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Patricia Bailey, and a brother Ronald Stump.
Survivors include her husband Gerald of 63 years; their children: Gloria (Mike) McAleese of Texas, Brenda Lucas of North Canton, Kevin (Brenda) Watson of Suffield, and Tammy (Todd) Boccia of Norton; grandchildren: Tim (Shelly) Lucas, Jeremy (Randi) McAleese, Jennifer (Camron) Stevens, Megan McAleese, Brandee Watson, Austin Boccia, and Kaylee Watson; great-grandchildren: Madee Hodges, Paige Lucas, Aiden Stevens, and Jaxson McAleese; three sisters: Sue Bailey, Judy Albrecht, and Vicki Toth, and a brother Charles (Terri) Stump; sister-in-law and best friend Sonja Stump; many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333 on Tuesday from 3-5PM and 7-9PM, where services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:00AM with Pastor Dan Hanlon officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
