Howard McKisson, 97, died May 6, 2012.
A life resident of Bath Township, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a long-time member of The Bath Church, U.C.C. A member of Meridian Sun Lodge #69, F&AM, Howard was often seen riding his Vespa around Bath and was affectionately nicknamed, "The Mayor of Ghent." He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a carrier in 1979 with 26 years of service.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elsie; parents, Roy E. and Maude McKisson; and brothers, Earl, Theron and Paul; he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Linda McKisson; nieces and nephews, Cynthia, Janet, Sue, David, Jim and Bob, Roberta, Barbara, Paulette, Nancy, Eddie Jr. and Ted.
Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., THURSDAY from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment with military honors at Bath Center Cemetery at 10 a.m. FRIDAY, followed at 11 a.m. by a memorial service at The Historic Chapel of the Bath Church, U.C.C., with Rev.
