Irene B. Lamson, 91, born December 21, 1917 in Everett, Ohio, passed away July 16, 2009.
She retired from the Brecksville V.A. Hospital, was a member of Northampton United Methodist Church, and past matron of Ellsworth Chapter #247 O.E.S.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence; parents, Olin Dean and Bessie Carter; granddaughter, Lori Jo Schoonover; brother, Olin D.; she is survived by her son, Clarence ""Bud, Jr.""; daughters, Janet Thomas, Jean Montgomery, Ruth Ann Brooker, Diane Ball; sister, Bertha Grimm; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grand-children; one great-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
Service will be held 11 a.m. TUESDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Pastor James Case officiating. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peninsula. Friends may call at the funeral home MONDAY, 4 to 8 p.m., where Brecksville Chapter #537 O.E.S. will conduct services at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron 44333.
