Irmin Vonzastrow

Irmin von Zastrow, 75, passed away on February 2, 2012.

Irmin was born in Berlin, Germany on February 6, 1936. He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1969 while he worked for B.F. Goodrich. He retired from Michelin after working for 29 years in international sales and marketing. Irmin loved to ski, play golf, travel, maintain his garden, and spend time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Anita, after 47 years of marriage; his son, Stefan; his daughter-in-law, Becky; and his grandchildren, Jessica and Eric. Irmin also loved his time with extended family in Germany and sincerely appreciated the support he received from his friends and caring neighbors.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Jean Hansen officiating. Interment will follow at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Bath, Ohio. Calling hours will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7 at the funeral home.
