Jacquelyn F. Hilder passed away February 18, 2011.
She was born in Wales and grew up in Toronto, Canada. She moved to the USA and resided in the Akron area for over 20 years. She was a Vice President & Team Leader for FirstMerit Bank, N.A. Jackie lived her life with dignity and respect. She had a big heart and was well known for her quick wit and sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Holdaway. She is survived by daughter, Kim Rockie Robinson Thomas; mother, Morvenna Holdaway; brother, David Susan Holdaway; sister, Jane Roy Young; four grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews, all of Canada; and partner, Victor Browne.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 11 at Billows Funeral Home, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, OH 44333. Friends may visit at the chapel from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either of her favorite charities: American Cancer Society or The Humane Society of Greater Akron.
