'Jim' Beynon, 88, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 9, 2009 to rejoin his wife Dotty of 57 years.
Jim retired from Teamsters Local 24 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the First Church of the Brethren, Tallmadge VFW and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his wife, Dotty and son, Terry, he is survived by his wife, Theresa; daughters, Rebecca Rick Lyon, Cindy Bob Leuenberger; son, Tommy Beynon; grandchildren, Meredith Ed, William, Heather Jason, Annie Steve, Laura Rob, Erica Tim; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. Inurnment at a later date at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Florida.
