Jim was a real outdoorsman. An avid fisherman and hunter, he loved enjoying nature while riding in his Gator. Jim loved to travel and was a savvy businessman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annabelle and his brothers, Robert and John. He is survived by his brother, William.
Jim was the loving husband of Susan (nee Cergol) and the late Catherine Surman (nee Pekar). He was also the generous, loving father of Christine, James, Robert (Denise), Amberlee (Mike) and Annabelle (fiancé Kevin) and grandfather to Jamie, Matthew, Cali, Jenna, Evelynn and Sophia.
He had many wonderful friends. The family expresses their special appreciation for his good friend Eddie.
Jim loved his little buddy, Jeepers.
Services for Jim will be held on Monday, May 18th at 11:30am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 3852 Everett Road in Bath, Ohio with calling hours commencing there at 10:00am. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at the church and all are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave. Cleveland, OH 44113 or Secondhand Mutts, 2603 Scranton Rd Cleveland, OH 44113.
