James E. Roth, 64, moved up to his eternal heavenly home July 30, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer with his loving family at his side.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Ambrose. A retired C.P.A., he was a member of the Northampton United Methodist Church and an avid Indians fan.
Preceded in death by his father, Quentin Beverly Roth; mother, Jane nee Obermayer Roth; and son-in-law, Josh Carpenter; he is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; children, Laura Schoenfeld Karl, Jimmy Roth, Katie Boltz Brian, Jennifer Garlando Jenee and Amy Preis fiancé, James Shannon; grandchildren; siblings, Tim Roth Glady, Judy Hein Bruce, Brian Pelgar Loreen, Joyce Zavatchen Joe, Barb Arthur Brian, Sandy Morrison Eugene, Renee Roth Pat Ayers; many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Services will be held 11 a.m. TUESDAY at Northampton United Methodist Church. Private inurnment. Friends may call at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd. St., MONDAY, from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to The Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 W. Bath Rd., Cuyahoga Falls 44223.
