Jane Crocker Senuta passed away on March 17, 2010.
She was a life-long Akron area resident, the daughter of the late William T. Crocker and Jane Hooper Crocker, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Mrs. Senuta is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Prudence and John C. Tucker; sister, Gertrude Snedden; grandchildren, Jeffrey Jennifer Tucker and Rachel Tucker; great-grandchildren, Jillian and Joseph; brother-in-law, Robert Suzanne Senuta; sisters-in law, Cathyrnne and Patricia Senuta, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 1st Lt. Michael Senuta, U.S. Army, who was killed in World War II action in 1945 on Luzon, The Phillipines. Also preceding her were her sisters and brothers-in-laws, Martha and Harry Morgan, Barbara L. Crocker, and David Snedden; her brother and sister-in-law, William and JoAnne Crocker; and brothers-in-law, William and Danny Senuta.
Mrs. Senuta was grateful to all the family members, friends, and other gracious people who assisted her and helped her keep functioning.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010, at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with calling hours from 1 to 2 p.m. The service will be conducted by Pastor Eloy Pacheco of The Chapel.
