Janet Louise Casteel

Janet Louise Casteel , 85, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Akron City Hospital.

Born in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Phebe Bauer, she lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Cuyahoga Falls.

She was a talented artist and an avid reader. She was very involved at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Tallmadge, teaching Sunday School for many years.

Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack, and her son, Kevin Frank.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Karen (Tom) Larson, and Jackie (Jack) Arnold; sons, Stephen (Monique) Casteel, and Joseph Casteel; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private ceremony will be held at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, where she will be buried.
