Janet Rose Hampton, 77, went home to be with the Lord June 2, 2009.
Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Ray Hampton, she is survived by her children, Lana Gene Vargo, Deborah Marc Grube, Terri Roberto Gironda and Ron Maria Hampton; grandchildren, Vanessa, Gene, Eddie, Briana, Jenny, Janie, Rachel, Jeremiah and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Ray, Ethan, Heath and Riley.
Janet will be remembered by her family for her great sense of humor, and never going a day without her makeup. She often bragged that she was smart enough to be on Jeopardy and win.
A private memorial service will be held at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stewarts Caring Place, 2955 W. Market St. #R, Akron 44333.
