Jean E. Falor, 88, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 peacefully at Wadsworth Pointe Nursing Center under Medina County Hospice Care.
Born March 16, 1923 in Akron, Ohio to Russell and Mabel Mae Mitchell, she married William Bill Falor August 30, 1947. Bill passed away September 4, 1999.
Jean and Bill owned The Covered Bridge Lounge in Bath, Ohio for 34 years.
Jean's activities included Junior League, Portage Country Club, Bath Volunteers for Service, Bath Community Players, City Hospital, Akron Children's Home, Bethel Lutheran Church and Faith Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her son, Russell Linc Marie Falor; her daughter, Diann Lou Sullivan, both of Tampa; grandchildren, Benjamin, Jennifer, Robert, Michael, Rachel; great-grandson, Yarak; and the families of Lou Sullivan's daughters, Melanie John Meisel and Laurie Chris Hall.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, 2650 W. Market St., with Pastor Jean Hansen officiating. Interment at Ira Cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, kindly donate to Faith Lutheran Church, Wadsworth Pointe, or Medina County Hospice.
