Jean E. Randt Morgan

Jean E. Randt Morgan, 98, passed away on August 23, 2012 after a brief illness.
She was born in Cleveland, grew up in Lakewood and settled in Bath after her marriage to Charles K. Morgan, where they lived for more than 30 years. She and her husband moved to Hilton Head Island, S.C. in 1983 and later moved to Laurel Lake Retirement Community in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Charles; her parents, Albert and Marie Randt; and her brother, Robert J. Randt. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Hyde (William), and grandsons, Jeffrey and Stephen Hyde. Jean had a fun-loving spirit and an interest in people that resulted in many, many friendships throughout her lifetime.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 30, at 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Hudson. A reception immediately following the service will be held in the Community Room at Laurel Lake Retirement Community. Private interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to The Laurel Lake Foundation, Library Fund, 200 Laurel Lake Drive, Hudson, OH 44236 or to Operation Homefront (a charity for wounded veterans) 8930 Fourwinds Dr., Suite 340, San Antonio, TX 78239.
