Jean Elizabeth Conner Pollock, 86, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 13, 2015 in the company of her beloved husband Millard Sebring Pollock.
A recent resident of Concordia at Sumner in Copley, Ohio, Jean was born in Rochester, PA. She grew up in Chevy Chase, MD, and graduated from Port Washington Sr. HS in New York. She spent much of her life on Long Island living in Port Washington and Fort Salonga, and summering in Cutchogue. She and Millard retired to Keowee Key, Salem, SC where they designed, built and decorated their lovely home on Lake Keowee.
Jean enjoyed singing and was active in church choirs her whole life including St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Port Washington, NY where she met Millard and were married. She was a member of the Keowee Key Koraliers. She enjoyed and studied Ikebana flower arranging and was active in the Woman's club serving as an officer in the Long Island Federation.
Jean will be dearly missed by her sister, Flora Olds of Guthrie, OK; daughter, Sharon E. Pollock and husband, Jim DeLuzio of Cranston, RI; and son, Brian M. Pollock and wife, Susan Pollock of Akron, OH; grandchildren, Heather and Matthew Harris, Justin Pollock, Leonardo DeLuzio, Daniel DeLuzio; and great-grandson, Henry Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, S. Grant and Elizabeth S. Conner; and her brother, Ralph Conner.
Memorial services will be conducted at a later date at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Seneca, SC.
