Jean M. Sargent, 87, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2010.
Jean was born in Lakewood, Ohio, grew up in Hudson and lived in Cuyahoga Falls since 1949. She was an executive secretary in the banking industry, had worked at Rene's Jewelers in Cuyahoga Falls for 11 years and was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by husband, Robert M. Sargent, she is survived by sons, Dave Mary Ann and Tom Brenda Sargent; grandchildren, Sam Julie, Ryan Tanya, Justin Liz, Jason Jennifer, Aaron, and Andy Natalie; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Nippler and various dogs and cats.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. SATURDAY at Grandview United Methodist Church, with Rev. James McKenzie officiating. Private inurnment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grandview United Methodist Church, 2316 Phelps Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Billow FALLS Chapel
