Jeanne L. Schiesswohl, 83, died Oct. 13, 2013.
Born in Cleveland, she attended Syracuse University and retired from Akron General Medical Center as a L.P.N. An active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, she was a member of Bath Delta Garden Club and a talented and accomplished artist whose works were in local galleries. Jeanne was a lover of the Great Lakes, oar carriers and U.S. Steel Corp.
She was a wonderful mother to her sons, Andrew (Patricia), Jonathan, and Douglas (Katrina); and grandmother to James, Robert, Payton, Douglas, Dakota, Ava and Josie.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of St. Paul's Episcopal Church (corner of W. Market St. and Kenilworth Dr.) with Rev. Mark J. Pruitt officiating. There are no calling hours. Interment at Hillside Cemetery in St. Clair, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 70 W. Streetsboro Rd., #201, Hudson 44236, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1361 W. Market St., Akron 44313, or the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg 44087. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
