Jeffrey Alan Jackson

February 28, 1958 — July 3, 2018

Jeffrey Alan Jackson, age 60, of Copley, OH, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2018. He was a 1976 graduate of Firestone High School and attended Marietta College and The University of Akron.
He leaves his mother, Nancy of Akron; older brother, Daniel of Akron, younger brother, Brian (Karen) of Columbus; nephew, Benjamin (Lindsey) of Hillard; and niece, Elizabeth of Columbus. He was proceeded in death by his father, Daniel of Akron.
Jeff had several occupations which included working for the Akron Water Department, used car salesman, and a professional custom blinds installer for the Holiday Inn chain, which afforded him the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S.
Jeff played WABL as a youngster, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, furniture woodworking with Dave Ashley, plastic toy model building, sailing on Sundays out at Turkeyfoot Lake, and growing spider plants. Jeff's favorite pet, Sheba, was found in a corn field in the middle of the winter in Shipshewana, IN.
Friends may call SUNDAY, July 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N Miller Rd. Following the conclusion of calling hours, a funeral service will be held with Rev. David Loar officiating. Interment will occur on MONDAY July 9 at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, Jeff's family requests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
