Jeffrey A. Yuhasz passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022 with his loving wife Chris, his sister-in-law Gindy Smith and his treasured family physician, Mike Rich by his side. After a 3-year battle with cancer, he is finally at peace. Jeff was born to Stephen and Doris Yuhasz on March 15, 1957. They predeceased him as did his sister Stephana and brother Dennis. His brother-in-law Rick Tomkinson joined him in heaven the same day.
Jeff was a proud member of Copley High School class of 1976 and attended The University of Akron. He was self-employed as a videographer, retiring in 2019.
He married the love of his life, Christine Chenoweth Yuhasz on May 8, 1993 after beginning their relationship 31 years ago. Jeff and Chris lived a blessed life with their kitties (“our kids”) and wonderful friends and family. The two enjoyed traveling – especially to Hilton Head Island – and spending time on their pontoon.
The second and third loves of his life were golf and bowling. He treasured his golf buddies from Portage Country Club and Chippewa Golf Course and many friends he bowled with over the years. And he loved his tacos which he had at least twice a week for most of his life.
In addition to his wife Chris, he leaves brothers Mark (Penny) of Spokane, Washington, and Michael of Cleveland. He also leaves his sisters and brothers in law, Gindy and Dick Smith, Jean and Tony Vernon, Betsy and Art Getz, Bill Chenoweth and Kate Tomkinson. His furry felines, Ditto, Dixie and Dakota also miss him!
