Jo A. Nist (Bachtel), 76, passed away suddenly September 23, 2013.
Born in Akron on February 10,1937, she was a lifelong Ohio resident. Jo graduated from Kenmore High School & Hammel Actual Business College with a secretarial degree. She lived in Manchester for over 5O years where she raised her family. Jo was devoted to her family and all of her friends and loved being with them. She was a very generous person, always placing others first. She loved to help people and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and a good friend to many people. She was an excellent homemaker, enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of her yard and feeding her animal friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Martha Bachtel; she is survived by her sons, David (Mindy) Nist and Darin (Tresa) Nist; and her grandchildren, Dustin, Mason, Sarah, and Kaitlyn.
Cremation has taken place. Jo has requested no calling hours or funeral services.
She will be placed with her parents at Greenlawn Memorial Park. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
