Jo Anne Clark Warsinskey, 85, passed away in Geneva, Ohio on Oct. 26, 2011.
Born in Charleston, W. Va., she grew up in Morgantown and lived most of her life in Akron. She graduated from Morgantown High School and earned her B.A. from West Virginia University where she was a Phi Beta Kappa. A long time sales associate at Ino's dress shop, she was actively involved for many years in the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Akron, League of Women Voters, Cleveland Hiking Club, and as an Akron Metro Parks Volunteer.
Preceded in death by husband, Erland; sister, Roberta Umstott; and brother, Richard Clark; she is survived by sons, Rick Barb, Chris Judy, Tom Dar and Tim Daneen; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Margy Clark.
Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Barb Warsinskey, Reader, officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
