Joanie, 60 passed away July 24, 2011 in Kings Mountain, N.C. after a long hard battle with Carcinoid cancer.
She was born in Akron, Ohio on May 23, 1951 and graduated from St. Sebastian grade school in 1965 and Buchtel High School in 1969. Joanie was a dental assistant in both Akron and Pittsburgh for 30 years and loved her job. She also taught dental assisting for one year. Joanie was a very talented artist and enjoyed gardening and her friends.
Preceded in death by son, Eric Archer and father, William F. Kuehnling; she leaves behind her loving husband, Randy; daughter, Jessica Tom Hull and grandson, Julien. Also living is her mother, Mary Louise Kuehnling; sisters, Mary Beth Rick Spencer, Carol John McCool, Karen Chip Rabbitt, Christine Vince Filko; brother, Bill Joanne Kuehnling; mother-in-law, Jo Ann Frederick; sister-in-law, Karen Reese; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to the Hospice of Cleveland County, Kings Mtn., N.C. for their help and wonderful care. Also, a special thanks to the people of Kings Mtn., N.C. and surrounding areas for all their love and support provided over the years.
Calling hours will be held 6-8 p.m. FRIDAY, at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 Miller Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 a.m. SATURDAY, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Ave., Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . A memorial service will be held later in Kings Mountain.
