JoAnn F. Peyton, 69, went to be with the Lord May 2, 2009 after a long illness.
Born in Lancing, Tenn., on August 5, 1939, she enjoyed flower gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She retired from the Revere Local School district.
Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Popson and former husband, Lawrence Peyton, she is survived by her father, Michael Popson; children, Mary E. Peyton, John M. Peyton, Holly A. Robert Murray and Joseph A. Angela Peyton; grandchildren, Michael, Colton, Jason, Blake and Rachael; sisters, Gail Scott Howard and Christine Harry Spackman; several nieces and nephews.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. THURSDAY at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH 44230, with Fr. Robert E. Stein celebrant. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Richfield. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., WEDNESDAY from 4 to 8 p.m.
