Joanne Alden, 70, passed away December 6, 2011.
Born in N. Carolina, she lived most of her life in Northampton Township. Joanne and her husband, Bob, founded Alden Sand and Gravel in 1963. She loved gardening and lots of shopping.
Preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Robert E. "Bob" Alden III, she is survived by sons, Robert "Butch" Cindy, Jack Rhonda; daughter, Connie Shawn Ensign; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, with Rev. Dr. Donard Engle officiating. Burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Billow FALLS Chapel
