Joanne Lorene (Borge) O'Neill

Joanne Lorene O’Neill (nee Borge), age 88, of Strongsville, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 26, 2023.

She was born December 3, 1934, in Aberdeen, SD; daughter of the late Noel and Evelyn Borge.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry, and brother Donnie Borge.

She is survived by her cherished daughters, Sharon and Larry McDevitt, and Coleen and Curt Hofer; granddaughter Kayla and Drew Stearns, granddaughter Kelsey Hofer and Johnny Rudin, grandson Johnny and Jaime McDevitt, and granddaughter Jenny McDevitt and Tony Morris; loving great grandchildren, Grayson, Veyda, Zander, Logan, Arika, Avery, and Nico. She will also be missed by Gina Kriso (Visiting Angels), a very special addition to our family for the last year and a half.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Vitalia Strongsville and Compassus Hospice for their care and support.

Funeral service will take place FRIDAY, December 1, 2023, at 11:30 AM at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333. Friends may call from 10:30 until the time of service. Private family entombment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted .

Memorial contributions in Joanne’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
