Born in Akron, he was a life resident of the area. John was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II with service in China. He retired from National City Bank after 46 years of work. John loved to golf and was a fan of the Michigan Wolverines.
Preceded in death by his wives, Sarah and Marylin; he is survived by his son, Curt (Amy) Conrad; daughters, Terrie Conrad, Barbara (Tom) Milan and Patricia (James) Zucco and their families; grandchildren John III, Carrie, Curt Jr., Matthew, Morgan, Katy, David, Jena and 8 great-grandchildren.
At his request, there are no calling hours or services. Private inurnment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 2220 2nd St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.(Billow FALLS Chapel)
