Born in Akron, John was a graduate of The University of Akron in Engineering. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from B.W. Rogers Company.
He is survived by cousin, John Conrad; brother, Robert Cherie Crow; and nephews, Mark, John, and David Crow.
Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
