John Hemminger, Jr.
John Hemminger, Jr., age 48, of Wadsworth, passed away unexpectedly November 23, 2008.
John was born on November 16, 1960 in Akron, Ohio. He grew up in Bath and graduated from Revere High School. John was a strong, caring man who was extremely proud of his two daughters, Sara and Elyse. John worked for Hemminger Construction Company in Akron for over 25 years as a General Foreman. His greatest passions were his family and riding motorcycles.
John is survived by his loving wife, Mary; daughters, Sara and Elyse; parents, John and Rose Hemminger Sr.; brothers, Alan Katheryn Hemminger, Mark Kimberlee Hemminger; sister, Karen Albert Pecoraro, and many nieces and nephews. John will be deeply missed and loved by all his friends, co-workers and family.
Services will be held 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Fr. Gordon Yahner officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to a benevolent fund established for children Sara and Elyse Hemminger at any FirstMerit Bank.
