John Christopher "Chris" Hough

John Christopher "Chris" Hough, 65, of Bolivar, Ohio died Sunday, January 28, 2018 in the Community Hospice Truman House, New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Born, April 28, 1952 in Champaign, Illinois he was the son of the late Robert Milne Hough and Priscilla Plumb Hough. Chris was retired from The Lockheed Martin Corporation in Akron, Ohio. Prior to working for Lockheed Martin, Chris worked for The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Goodyear Aerospace and Loral Defense Systems. Chris was a long-time member of the Bolivar Lions Club where, at one point, he held the office of President, Secretary and Treasurer. Chris was a graduate of The Ohio State University and Kent State University. He completed Kent State's Executive MBA program in 1987 while working full time for Loral Defense Systems.
Chris is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jane Timmons Hough whom he married on September 8, 1979; daughters, Mary Meghan "Megs" Stacklin (Steve) of Richwood, Ohio and Anne Elisabeth Joyce (Jonathan) of Arlington, Virginia; brother, Jeffrey Gale Hough of Greensboro, Georgia; step-brothers, Jack (Joann) Hengst of Columbia, Ohio and Scott (Kathy) Hengst of Brunswick, Ohio; grandchildren, Allison, Wyatt and Kyle Stacklin of Richwood, Ohio. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-laws, Mary and Bill Timmons of Coshocton, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Lois Hengst.
A private inurnment in Rose Hill Burial Park, Fairlawn, Ohio is scheduled with The Rev. James Steiner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Truman House, the Bolivar Lions Club or to the charity of your choice. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 330-867-4141)
