Dr. John Jacob, M.D., 88, died June 1, 2017.
Born in Cleveland, he was a graduate of the University of Akron and the Ohio State College of Medicine. Dr. Jacob practiced anesthesiology for thirty years in the Akron area.
He is survived by his beloved adopted family: son, LeRoy Dilbeck and grandsons, Justin and Ethan Dilbeck. Also surviving is his best friend, Robert Renner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11 a.m. TUESDAY at St. George Antiochian Church, 3204 Ridgewood Road, Fairlawn, OH 44333, with Fr. Youhanna Al-Assaf officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the church Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers., memorials may be made to St. George's Building Fund. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
