John W. Palazzo

John W. Palazzo, 84, passed away peacefully September 3, 2014.

Born April 17, 1930 in Akron to the late Benjamin and Angeline Palazzo, he was a graduate of West High School, attended Kent State and Ohio Northern University and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from Logan Machine as vice president and general manager after over 30 years of service. He was also one of the original founders of Seal Master Corporation in 1974.

He was a hard working, self made man who was fully devoted to his loving wife, children and grandchildren. Any who knew him described him as "one of the good ones." His spirit will live on in the legacy of his entire family.

Preceded in death by his four brothers, two sisters and daughter, Susan Hoffman; he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marjorie; son, John II; daughters, Christine (Jeffrey) Noyes and Patty Palazzo; grandchildren, Johnny (Christine) Palazzo, Samantha Noyes, Jimmy Noyes, Zachary and Maxwell Palazzo and Robby Noyes; close family friend, Giovanni Brienza.

Services will be held 11 a.m. MONDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Allan Belton officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors provided by Copley Veterans Post and the U.S. Navy. Friends may call at the funeral home SUNDAY 4-7 p.m. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
