John Eugene Usberghi, 75, passed away on December 29, 2018.
Born in Akron, Ohio on December 28, 1943 to Patsy and Lucy Usberghi, he was a graduate of Springfield High School. A multi-time award-winning hairstylist on the national level, John worked for several years at his family's hair salon on Brown St. in Akron, before moving to Merriman Rd. in the Valley in the mid 1970's, where he opened his own salons- Expressions Hair Crafting, and later, A Cut Above and the Back Stage hair studio. A 'Rat Pack' enthusiast, John loved singing Frank Sinatra, his personal relationship with English pop singer Engelbert Humperdinck, and was a lover of almost all things authentically Italian.
He is survived by his son, John David Usberghi; sister, Julie DeLuca; brothers, Joe and Pat Usberghi Jr; many other relatives and friends.

Committal services and entombment will take place at 1 p.m. FRIDAY, January 4, 2019 in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
