Joseph R. Cenney
Joseph Ralph Cenney, 84, died December 4, 2008.
Born in Cleveland, he was a World War II Army Air Force veteran and graduate of the University of Akron with a Bachelor's degree in engineering. Joe worked as a quality control engineer at Chrysler for 20 years. After retirement, he started his own firm, Advanced Quality Laboratory, Inc., and as C.E.O., he contracted with many area firms including Loral. Joe's first love was that of being a licensed private pilot, flying as recently six years ago. He had the time of his life when he enrolled in a course in Atlanta in which he flew combat missions in simulated World War II aircraft. Joe worshipped at St. Joseph Parish in Cuyahoga Falls for over 35 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ann and special friend, Helen Bohn; he will be remembered fondly by close friend, Rudy Bachna; faithful neighbor and friend, Jeff Chop; special friends, Ronald Kaffen, Esq. and Kenneth Harrington.
At his request, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be with his parents at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio. There are no services or calling hours. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Education Fund, 215 Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
