Joseph F. Cook, Jr., 54, died January 20, 2011.
Born in Akron, he was a partner with Amer-Cunningham Co. LPA. A Past Master of Coventry-Akron Lodge #83, he was a member of Tadmor Shrine, Scottish Rite Valley of Akron, Akron Rotary Club, Leadership Akron, and was a founding board member of Ballinger House Brain Injury Clubhouse.
Preceded in death by father, Joseph F. Cook, Sr., he is survived by wife, Karen; daughters, Carolyn and Kristen; mother, Joyce Cook; sisters, Anne Walt Keith and Susan Jeffrey Dinitz; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Allen Richardson officiating. Inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m., where Coventry-Akron Lodge #83 will conduct service at 4:30 p.m. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Community Clubhouse formerly Ballinger House for traumatic brain injury, 2799 Copley Road Akron, OH 44321.
