Joseph Michael Karam

December 26, 2000 — May 12, 2023

Joseph Michael Karam was with his family when his Savior, Jesus, took him to heaven and for the first time has no pain!  Joey started at 16 months fighting his battle with brain cancer.  He relapsed at 5 yrs. old, 7 yrs. old and 9 yrs. old which was also when he suffered bacterial meningitis and a major stroke…  but he fought and kicked cancers butt!!  During the next 12 years, he graduated from high school and loved participating in the culinary arts program!  He served as the Copley varsity water boy for 8 yrs., so that he could, firsthand, take care of his brothers RJ and Jonny, cousin Austin and his best friend Tyler! He LOVED mowing on his John Deere tractor, cooking for his family, camping, canoeing down the river, building Legos, “farming” with his John Deere toys and spending time with his family!

Joey is survived with unending love, by his parents Ron and Sue, brothers RJ (Darion) Jonny (Shayla), his sister Alyssa and his most favorite nephew, Wyatt!  Grandparents Ron (Julie) Karam, Tom (Lucy) Brenner, uncles Ryan Karam and Robert Bailey, Tom (Michele) Brenner, Tim (Bethany) Brenner, Aunt Laura Brenner and his Aunt Shelly Brenner (Bruce Kohler).  His love for his best cousins in the world was endless: Anthony, Tommy (Hilary), Taylor (Mitch), Hannah, Drew (Sarah), Chad (Bethany), Chase (Alison), Ashley, Bryce, Brooke (Nate), Austin (Allison), Paige (Isaiah), Luke, Reagan and Ella.

Please join us in celebrating Joey’s life during calling hours on WEDNESDAY, May 17th from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., and funeral service on THURSDAY, May 18th at 3:00 PM at Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Rd., Wadsworth, OH 44281.
