Joseph Patrick Andrea

Joseph Patrick Andrea, 63, died January 22, 2021, surrounded by the love and care of his family and friends.

Joe was born July 17th, 1957, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Patricia Andrea. He was the eldest of five siblings whom he adored. His sister was his best friend. He loved sports and was a hopeful supporter of the Browns. He enjoyed good scotch, cooking wonderful meals and hot sauce from scratch, watching superhero movies, and caring for his plants. He raised two kind, fun-loving, wonderful sons who reflect the best of him. He will be remembered as a gentle and unconditionally supportive presence in the lives of his loved ones.

Joe is survived by his two sons, Joey and Joshua Andrea; sister and her spouse, Susan Andrea and Dr. Thomas Olbrych; brothers and their spouses, Michael and Leslie Andrea, John and Jean Andrea, and Timothy Andrea and life partner Sarah McCulley; five nephews, two nieces; and grand-dog, Gambit.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parrish, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas McCann as Celebrant.  COVID-19 restrictions will be followed, including masks and social distancing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests, those who wish to express sympathy, to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Joe's name.  Billow Funeral Homes Fairlawn Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
