Joseph Tamas, 86, died February 10, 2010 at Lorantffy Care Center.
Born in Hungary, he had resided in the Akron area over 50 years. He had obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, worked for Ohio Edison and was a member of Christ Reformed Church. Joseph was a very nice man, a friend to all and always there if needed. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Aranka; nephew, Ferenc Tirkala and his family; and many dear friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Lorantffy Care Center for their excellent care.
A memorial service will be held Noon SATURDAY, February 20th at Christ Reformed Church, with Rev. Arpad Csaba Orosz officiating. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Reformed Church, 2625 Copley Road, Copley 44321.
