Joseph T. Tornichio, 68, passed away January 10, 2012.
Born in Crestline, he lived most of his life in Akron. Joe served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church where he served as an usher. Joe was a graduate of The University of Akron.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diana, seven children, 15 grandchildren, six siblings, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Sebastian Church, 476 Mull Ave., Akron 44320, with Rev. Fr. Matthew Pfeiffer officiating. Private burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron.
