Julia Jeanne Van Lint Taylor Julia Jeanne Van Lint Taylor passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 after a valiant battle with cancer. Julia was born on October 20, 1926 in Antwerp, Belgium to Joanna and Charles Van Lint. In 1945 she met a young U.S. soldier named Alton Taylor who was stationed in Belgium during World War II. Julia became a "war bride" and traveled to the United States to be with him when his tour of duty was completed. Taking up residence in Cuyahoga Falls, Julia made many dear friends in the community through her job at Stutzman's Super Market on Bailey Road. She rarely won at bingo, but loved playing at several area churches and schools. Julia was preceded in death by sisters, Mennie and Josephine; and brother, Edmund; she is survived by her husband of 66 years, Alton, Sr.; daughter, Jeanne William Jasso; sons, Alton, Jr. Sharon, Stephen Shelley and Charles; granddaughters, Jaclyn, Megan, Shannon, Erin, Emily; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander, Olivia and McKenna; nieces, Kathy and Autumn; nephew, Ed. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd Street in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
