June Grace Weimer passed away on June 15, 2016.
Born September 23, 1927 in Milwaukee Wisconsin, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Wenke (Todd); her son, Andrew (Alison) Weimer and grandchildren, Katrina and Holly.
June worked for the Selective Service during WWII where she met her husband of 60 years. June had been an avid equestrian, swimmer and tennis player. They built their first home in Elm Grove where they enjoyed playing bridge and entertaining many friends. She was known by her friends and family for her pie baking. She was active with her children's activities (Scout troops, Great Books). She sold advertising for the Christian Science Monitor and was a Church member for many years. After Fred retired, they moved to Minocqua, WI to enjoy the Northwoods full time, square dancing and she became a Master Gardener. They traveled to all corners of the world and spent many a Christmas in Hawaii to be with her daughter and son in law. In 2009, June moved to Ohio to be closer to family.
June will be interred with her husband at Wisconsin Memorial Park. No services are planned. In lieu of any flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at:
