Katherine "Kay" Weygandt

Katherine "Kay" R. Weygandt, age 95, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015.
Born November 13, 1919 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of Karl W. and Anna M. (Lathrope) Gasche.
Kay was a member of the Holy Trinity Luthern Church, Backyard Garden Club, Cascade Quilt Guild, KISS Quilt Guild, Summit Ladiary Club, Akron Mineral Society, and the Cuyahoga Valley Archeological Society.
Survivors include her children: Sandra Baclawski of Lake Milton; Carol and Charles Chappell of Little Rock, Arkansas; James and Peggy Weygandt of Riva, Maryland; Paul Jr and Terryl Weygandt of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; Frederick and Laura Weygandt of Cary, North Carolina; Philip Weygandt of Heber Springs Arkansas; and John Weygandt of Cuyahoga Falls; a sister Margie Ewing of Hudson; grandchildren: Thomas, David, Anne, and Benjamin Baclawski; Christopher, Timothy, and Michael Chappell; Mark, Beth, and Greg Weygandt; Lauren, Logan, and Terryn Weygandt; Sarah, Jeffrey, and Daniel Weygandt; Georgia Weygandt; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul L. Weygandt in 2001.
Friends will be received at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., on Sunday from 5-7 PM. Services will take place at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 50 N. Prospect St., Akron, Ohio 44304, on Monday, May 31, 2015 at 10:00AM with Pastor David Nevergall officiating. Burial will take place at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
