Kathleen Anne Voorhees Mueller

Kathleen Anne Voorhees Mueller died on January 26, 2024.
She was the daughter of Edwin and Jean Voorhees, born in Akron on May 22, 1940, and grew up there. The family moved to Copley in her teen years, where she enjoyed the freedom of the countryside. She attended nursing school, moving back to Akron to pursue her career at Akron City Hospital, where she was a head nurse.

At her 20th high school reunion, she met an old flame, Don. They married in 1978 and moved to Cuyahoga Falls. She enjoyed travel, visiting family and friends around the country, reading, miniatures, and walking the Cuyahoga Valley.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Mueller; sisters Christine Voorhees and Lou Ann Shellenberger; nieces Nancy and Chloe; and nephews Cory and Cody.
